The Shores Centre in Withernsea has teamed up with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to provide free lifesaving skills.
Although not a full first-aid qualification the course teaches people how to perform CPR, how to use a defibrillator, what to do when someone is unconscious, bleeding or choking, and how to recognise when someone is having a stroke.
