Thursday, November 23

  • Hull Road Methodist Church, Withernsea. Fun, Food and Friendship 12noon onwards. Entertainment by Godfrey Holmes, Poetry, Withernsea, A Sense of Place: A Place of Sense?
  • Withernsea Methodist Church “A Warm Welcome to all”. Re-opens for the Autumn and Winter period 11am – 2pm every week until the end of March 2024
  • The Withernsea Ladies’ Choir rehearsals take place from 7pm until 9pm at Withernsea Methodist Church. 
  • Burton Pidsea Indoor short mat bowls at 1.30pm – 6.00pm, £3 per session, free refreshments included. First session free. Great gentle exercise and socialising in this fun sport. For more information, please contact Ed Kyle-Price on 01964 670345

  • Village Arts meets at Ottringham Village Hall from 10am to 12noon. All levels welcome. Free tea and coffee. Just £2 per session
  • Pop-in, Welwick Village Hall, 10am -12pm, everyone welcome to pop in for a cuppa, cake and a chat

Friday, November 24

  • Hedon Christmas lights switch-on, 5pm –8.30pm
  • Hornsea Christmas lights switch-on, 6.30pm
  • Fitmums, Withernsea, 9.30am at Meridian Centre, 201-203 Queen Street, Queen Street Withernsea HU18 2HH, not including Bank Holidays
  • Film at Preston Community Hall. My Sailor, My Love, a powerful  and romantic tale of a second chance at love. Showing at 7.15. Doors open at 6.45. Admission £5
  • Warm Space, Skipsea Village Hall. Two course hot lunch, tea and coffee, newspapers, games and activities, fun and friendship 10am – 1pm. Every Friday

Saturday, November 25

  • St Patrick’s Church, Patrington: Christmas market Saturday, November 25, and Sunday, November 26, at 10am – 4pm. Various stalls and refreshments. Free entry
  • Christmas in the Valley, Withernsea 4pm – 6pm Christmas Light Switch on with lantern parade by Animated Objects Theatre Company and tree switch-on at 5pm
  • Ottringham Christmas lights switch-on, festive fun and Santa arrives at 5pm, lights switch-on at 6pm. Based in the Watts Arms and the Main Street
  • Christmas Fair, Elsternwick Methodist Chapel, fun for all the family, raffle, tombola, cakes, gifts, refreshments. Adults 50p, children 20p. Proceeds to St Lawrence Church Elsternwick

Sunday, November 26

  • Patrington Christmas lights switch-on 3.30pm – 6.30pm, Market Place Patrington, lights turned on at 4.30pm
  • St Patrick’s Church, Patrington, Christmas market at 10am – 4pm. Various stalls and refreshments. Free entry
  • Holderness Lions. Santa and Sleigh at Burstwick Christmas Fair. 2pm to 6pm
  • Withernsea Methodist Church look forward to welcoming you to morning worship at 10.30am which will be led by Grace Gava, evening worship for this week will be led by our Minister Rev. Ian Greenfield at 6.30pm. All welcome
  • Preston Methodist Chapel. Come along and join us for our Annual Gift Service in aid of Home Start on Sunday November 26th at 10:30a.m. Gifts of toys and toiletries will be most welcome. Rev Ian Greenfield will lead the service. Everyone welcome.

Monday, November 27
