More than 60 young Vikings headed off to the Rhinos Challenge weekend in Skegness this year with six teams taking part in five different age groups.
This was the first time the event had been held since 2019 due to the pandemic and it was great to see all the teams in action.
The event sees teams from around the country enter so it is an excellent chance for the young players to face teams they wouldn’t normally play as well as some teams they play regularly but in a different environment.
The whole travelling party really got into the spirit of things and represented the club so well off the pitch, and the players really showed what a talented group they are.
Many coaches came away with positive comments about our style of play and the skill level on display, so it was a thoroughly successful weekend all round. Here’s to next year!
