Easington Youth Club held its summer fun day and barbecue on Saturday, August 19.
Janet Hollingworth of the club said: “It was a fantastic day – the weather was kind to us, and the sun shined all day. People came and took part in the activities going on around the field. The children had a fantastic time on the two bouncy castles and won prizes galore on the games.
“The tombola with 200 prizes soon sold out – people bought raffle tickets and played our wine and water game.”
In total, the event raised £1,871.28 for the youth club.
Janet added: “We would like to thank everyone who came along, spent money and had fun – and a big thank you to all the businesses that donated prizes.”
