Hornsea Town Walking Football Club marks its sixth anniversary later in 2023 and plays its sport on the town’s senior school’s 3G pitch off Atwick Road.
To celebrate this milestone, the club is offering a Free Football February whereby all its sessions during the month are free to participate in.
The club is keen to encourage new faces, male and female, to give the sport a try.
Chris Smith, an inaugural member of the club, said: “The club’s ethos is to provide fun, fitness and the opportunity to develop new friendships.”
Three one-hour sessions are on offer to a variety of ages, and the club considers itself as being fully inclusive.
Sunday at 9.30am is popular with the over- 60s, Tuesday 7pm is a session open to all, plus the club has a dedicated women’s option and Thursday 8pm is open to all.
