Discover how the ad industry ‘exploited’ fine art

An illustrated talk will take place in Hornsea later this month, explaining how the advertising industry has “exploited” fine art through the ages.

Tony Rawlins, who will give the presentation, has worked for advertising agencies and gives the lowdown on how, and why, advertisers have used famous paintings in their creative campaigns. He will reveal their successes and failures using visuals and video.

The talk will be at the Floral Hall on Thursday, July 21, at 10.30am. Visitors are welcome to attend for a suggested donation of £7.
