Consultation launched on accessible play park equipment

East Riding Council has launched a consultation into providing accessible play equipment in two Hornsea parks.

Jefferson and Hall Garth play parks are owned by Hornsea Town Council, which says that many children enjoy them, but it also feels that there is limited sensory and accessible play equipment currently available.

In response, East Riding Council has launched a consultation aimed at finding out the types
of sensory/accessible equipment wanted by the community, as well as any other changes.

Accessible play equipment is equipment that allows wheelchair access or is adaptive so that those who are slightly less able can participate in the same activities.
