Leven Sports Hall and Playing Field is asking all users of the facilities to help gain additional funding to improve its car park.
Located on North Street in Leven, the sports hall and adjacent field is home to several clubs, including football, karate, Leven Pre-School, and Leven Young Voices. The venue also hosts a bowling green, a multi-use games area, a park and a nature park.
The car park has been damaged through a combination of bad weather and extensive use.
Leven Playing Fields Association would like to upgrade the surface, improve accessibility from North Street, and create additional lighting. They also hope to provide charging points for electric vehicles.
The financial boost cannot be achieved without support and feedback from the local community.
The sports hall is appealing to those who use the car park to complete a secure Google document at forms.gle/JA878phAPYfe5rht6 to help secure the much-needed funding.
