The Withernsea Carnival Committee has released its programme for this year’s event, which is set to take place later this month.
Available for £1, the programme is the official guide to all of the events, including games, quizzes and entertainment, taking place between August 20-29.
The programme also contains information on the numerous businesses supporting the carnival, with various discount vouchers on offer.
Also included in the programme is the opportunity to enter the talent competition, in which there are four age categories: three to six, seven to 11, 12-15, and 16-plus.
Entry to the shop window-spotting competition will also be included. This involves shops around the town hiding “unusual” objects in their windows. All you have to do is write down the out-of- place objects. Entries must be submitted by 9am on August 31, and the winners will be displayed at Goodwin Fox in Queen Street.
The programmes can be bought from the Holderness Gazette office, in Seaside Road, Withernsea.
