Leven Sports Hall is running an open event later this month, which organisers say will be a great opportunity for people to have a look around the newly refurbished facilities.
Visitors will also be able to meet the groups that regularly run classes from the hall.
There will be free refreshments on the day, funded by the Do it for East Yorkshire community grant.
The event will be on Sunday, February 26, from 10am to 1pm, with facilities on show including meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor bowls, badminton courts, children’s play area and much more.
Meanwhile, Leven Sports Hall is running a crowdfunder to meet its increasing running costs. Leven Playing Field Association is a registered charity and does not receive any form of central or local government funding.
It is struggling to cover all its operating and maintenance costs and depends on the generosity of the public to provide donations, as well as funding from grant providers.
