Members of Skeals (Spurn, Kilnsea and Easington Local Studies Group) have have been working hard to update and improve their website.
The site has now been brought up- to-date and improved with features highlighting the history of the local area. It also includes articles and photographs as well as information about the group’s publications and programme of meetings, talks and outings.
The group will be holding a coffee morning at Easington Community Hall from 9.30-11am on Saturday, September 17, to relaunch the website.
There will be a display of recent aerial photographs, including a large new photograph of Easington village.
A model of the old Easington lifeboat, made by Skeals member Mike Welton, will also be on display. There will also be a raffle, cake stall and Skeals publications will be available. Everyone is welcome.
