Two Hornsea Inshore Rescue volunteers will undertake an epic cycle ride next week.
On Wednesday, August 16, crew members Shona Richards and Jenny Hannon will be cycling from Southport to Hornsea along the Transpennine trail. Throughout their journey, they will be raising money for the lifeboat charity and they will be joined by some of their friends.
Hornsea Inshore Rescue is an independent charity that receives no funding from the Government or the RNLI. All donations come from the local community, sponsors and fundraisers.
Shona and Jenny are hoping to raise £10,000 for the charity.
