Discover the heart of rugby league at club’s open day

The Beverley Braves Rugby League Club is thrilled to announce an open day extravaganza, set to take place on April 20, at 10am.

Families, aspiring young athletes, and rugby enthusiasts are being invited to discover what makes the Beverley Braves not just a club, but a community.

The day promises an array of activities suitable for all ages, kicking off with age- appropriate training sessions led by the dedicated coaches of the Beverley Braves. It’s a golden opportunity for youngsters to dip their toes into the dynamic world of rugby league under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

The Beverley Braves are also proud to launch their new sponsorship pack during the open day. This initiative aims to foster partnerships with potential and existing sponsors, showcasing the tangible impact of their support on the club and its young members. The club is inviting new, current and old sponsors to the event.

But it’s not just about the sport; it’s about the spirit. The clubhouse doors will be wide open, welcoming visitors with a plethora of information about the team, forthcoming events, and insights into the life of a Beverley Brave. Coaches and team representatives will be available throughout the morning to chat, offering a deeper look into the club’s ethos and how your child can become part of this vibrant community.

Fuel up and unwind at the café, which will be serving an array of hot and cold food including bacon and sausage sandwiches, alongside a selection of confectionery. It’s the perfect spot to relax after an exciting session or to mingle with other families and team members.

The Beverley Braves are proud to be the sole rugby league flag bearers in the town, and they are excited to showcase their facilities to all attendees. This includes the grand unveiling of the newly furnished gym, designed to foster the physical development of athletes in a state-of-the-art environment.

The open day will be packed with entertainment for the whole family, including a bouncy castle, rugby-related movement games, tug of war, relay races, RL skills training, and fundamental rugby league drills. The event will also feature special guest appearances from rugby league luminaries.

Marc Donnally, Braves head coach, said: “We’re eager to welcome as many youngsters as possible and reward our existing young athletes with a truly memorable day of fun, sport and community spirit. This open day encapsulates everything the Beverley Braves stand for – passion, unity and the relentless pursuit of excellence.”
