Charity offers variety of essential services

Members of the community are invited to visit the Inmans Helping Hands charity based at Hedon Inmans School.

The award-winning charity was established in 2019, and offers the following services:

Community Meals delivered hot to your door between 4.30pm and 5.15pm, three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Please try to give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for bookings and cancellations.

The cost is £5 per meal which includes delivery. Call 01482 899485 to order or for further inquiries.

The Community Shop and Library are open Monday-Friday (term-time only) between 8am- 4.30pm, to members of the local community and the parent/carers of pupils at Inmans Primary School regardless of financial income.

The shop is restocked every Monday morning and will have all types of savoury snacks, preserves, tinned food, fruit and veg, toiletries and frozen goods. Most items will be 50p each, and some items are two for 50p.

The library is free of charge and is fully stocked with a variety of books and jigsaws. The books and jigsaws can be borrowed for as long as desired, and can by kept, passed on to a friend or family member, or brought back to the library. The shop and library are situated in the main entrance of the school.
