Come and join us in our safe space for friendship, a chat, or just a bit of company, share a light lunch and visit our extensive book exchange and jigsaw library all free. Special event, food, friendship and fun, at Withernsea Methodist Church, Hull Rd. We have a slightly more elaborate lunchtime food offering to visitors from 12-1pm followed by a range of entertainment from local artists, offering music, talks and other activities. 1pm to 2pm. Come and join us, everyone welcome. If you feel you want to help and get involved in this important community activity, we are always looking for volunteers too (last Thurs of the month)

Christmas festival & lights switch on from 5pm. Hedon Town Council. Stalls, rides, food, drink and entertainment. The Mayor is switching on the lights at 6.30pm. Father Christmas will be stopping by the Town Hall around 5pm to spread some festive cheer. (Friday 28th November)
Christmas lights switch on. Hornsea lights switched on at 6pm. Join us as the town transforms into a festive wonderland, hosted by Seaside FM. Newbegin Road closed 5pm-9pm. A brilliant evening of entertainment, stalls, music and community spirit. (Friday 28th November)

Carol of the bells Christmas concert by candlelight (Withernsea Ladies Choir) 7pm start at St Nicholas Church, Withernsea HU19 2QA. Join us for an evening filled with carols, sentiment and festive cheer. Mulled wine, refreshments and a raffle. Free entry, all welcome. Saturday, November 29

Ottringham Xmas lights switch on to be held on Main Street and in the Watts Arms, Ottringham. From 5.30pm with switch on at 6pm. Our last tombola, raffle, five gold rings, ‘in it to win it’, charity bake stall, refreshments including mulled wine and mulled cider and of course, Father Christmas and his elves. Come along and get your Christmas off to a great start with our lights switch on. (Sat 29 Nov)
Christmas light switch on & market, hosted by Easington Events Committee, in the Square at Easington. Switch on at 7pm. Free hot chocolate, mulled wine, brownies and flapjacks to be served, Santa in his grotto with a free gift for the kiddies. Market stalls from community businesses and a raffle. Festive pottery workshop by Pop Up Pottery Beverley, Shores Centre, Withernsea, 1pm to 3pm. Beginners can make their own ceramic robins, with finished pieces taken away for firing and returned for collection. £25 pp, open to over-12s with a paying adult. (Sat Nov 29)
