AN EASINGTON resident has celebrated her 102nd birthday.
On January 11, Peggy Eves celebrated her birthday with a meal out with her family.
The next day she celebrated with her friends at the Thursday coffee morning at the Community Hall.
Cake and a glass of sherry were shared, and Peggy was presented with flowers, chocolates and other gifts.
Peggy said she put down her 102 years to being fortunate to have enjoyed a long, healthy life, a loving family, good friends, as well as her faith, being a regular churchgoer.
