Hard work by a group of young people on Saturday certainly paid off by raising a large amount of cash for two organisations.
Members of Patrington Young Farmers’ Club held a successful car wash at the local fire station, courtesy of Humberside Fire and Rescue, and there was a steady stream of cars waiting to take advantage of the service being offered.
As a result, they raised £740 which will be shared between the club and the Fire Fighters Charity.
Patrington YFC meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the church hall and is open to those aged 13 to 28.
