
A widespread search has been taking place to help locate a 90-year-old man who has been reported missing from Easington.
Malcolm Curtis was last seen in the area of Hull Road, Easington, at around 10am on Wednesday, June 4. He was reported missing to police at about 11.30am and efforts to find him have continued throughout the day.
He is described as being around 5ft 8in, with grey hair, and is thought to be wearing a grey gilet and brown trousers.
There was a large police presence in the village by Wednesday afternoon, along with members of the Coastguard, and Withernsea RNLI also announced it had launched the lifeboat.
On Wednesday evening villagers gathered to help join the search for Malcolm, many of them out looking for several hours, and people were urged to check sheds and outbuildings.
Anyone who has seen Malcolm, or who has information about his whereabouts, is urged to contact Humberside Police on 101, quoting log 177 of June 4.
