Who should win this year’s Withernsea town award?

Nominations are now open for the Withernsea Town Award 2025.

The town council is inviting residents to put forward names of individuals or businesses who have shown outstanding service to the community.

Nominees can be residents or non-residents who work or volunteer in Withernsea, or local businesses helping to improve the town centre and promote Withernsea as a whole.

Written nominations, up to 200 words, must be submitted by noon on 5 May. These should be sent to: The Town Clerk, Withernsea Town Council, The Meridian Centre, 201 Queen Street, Withernsea HU19 2HH or by email to [email protected].

The winner will be announced during the annual parish meeting, taking place at 7pm on May 21 at the Meridian Centre.

Last year’s award went to pianist Paul Pike, who was recognised for his long-standing dedication to music in the town.
