Following the successful Preston Show and Family Fun Day last month, a presentation evening was held at the Nags Head in Preston on Sunday, September 8.
The evening was well attended with singer Liam Pattison providing entertainment.
The Preston Village Show committee made some donations to various good causes from the £1,500 funds raised at the show:
Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Hornsea Inshore Rescue were presented with £200 each, Preston Patter, the village newsletter, and Preston Community Hall were each given £250, while Preston Brownies and Jan and Ali’s You Are Not Alone fund both received £300.
The committee thanked Mike and Marian Rouse of the Nags Head for facilitating the show and presentation evening.
Thanks were also given to all those volunteers who helped and everyone who provided sponsorship.
