Residents of Hornsea are invited to join a local bike hire firm to collect litter in their area.
The litter pick, led by Shark eBikes, will be in line with the #BigBagChallenge – an initiative started by Keep Britain Tidy – which encourages people to take an active part in tackling the environmental issue of litter in their community.
In addition to supporting a vital environmental cause, the litter pick give the community an opportunity to work together to make a positive difference in the area.
It is also a chance for people to meet, chat and make new friends – all while making their town a more and enjoyable place to live.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 25, starting at noon from the Shark eBikes store at Unit 5, Southgate.
Everyone is invited to join in, whether they are on their own or with friends or family. Refreshments will be provided, and a handful of pre-booked eBikes will be available, free of charge, for those with limited mobility who wish to take part.
