It will kick off on Sunday, November 19, with their Christmas hamper at Sandhills Nursery in Preston.

On Sunday, November 26, Santa and his sleigh will be at Burstwick Christmas Fair from 2pm to 6pm.

The Christmas hamper will be at Tony Cook’s on Daisy Hill on Sunday, December 3, and the following day the sleigh will arrive in Sproatley for the village’s Christmas lights switch-on, between 6pm and 7 pm.

On Friday, December 8, the sleigh will be going around Hedon, starting at 6pm in Queens car park, then Fewson Garth at 6.25pm and Inmans Primary School at 6.50pm. Santa and his sleigh will stay for 20 minutes at each venue.

On Saturday, December, 9, the Lions will be running their Hook a Bag stall at Inmans Primary School’s Christmas fair from 10am to 2pm.

On Thursday, December 14, Santa and his sleigh will travel around Preston, starting at Rectory Lane at 6pm, Rands Estate at 6.25pm, and then at the Oak Tree Estate at 6.45pm, again staying for 20 minutes at each venue.

The sleigh’s next stop will be on Saturday, December 16, at Thorngumbald shopping centre in Church Lane from 10am to noon.

Lion Chris Railton said: “Holderness Lions Club would like to wish you all a very merry and happy Christmas, and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your support over the past year. However, please remember, that these dates and times are always dependent on the weather and availability of our volunteers, so please be aware that we will always do our absolute best to be present at all the above venues.”
