Three Patrington Lifestylers have raised more than £600 by completing a sponsored bike ride as part of their quest to help clean up their village.
Alice, Bethany and Rosie, the Clean Community Queens, completed the ride from Hull to Hornsea last Sunday along the Trans Pennine Trail, eventually reaching the seafront tired, but happy, and ready to enjoy welcome ice-creams.
The trio are raising the cash to have signs made for the village and local area promoting recycling and the use of litter bins.
Greens of Hull is supporting them and has already donated some signs.
The girls are also holding a community litter pick on Saturday, August 24, starting at 11am at the village hall, and welcome anyone to go along and help them.
