Hornsea Museum hosts photography exhibition

A volunteer at Hornsea Museum is showcasing some of his photography from the local area and around the world in the popular attraction over the Easter Weekend.

Fellow volunteer Denise McGranahan said David Hobson “absolutely loves photographing wildlife”.

She added: “David’s also travelled the world, so there will be a lot of photos of local wildlife, but also some of the exotic ones as well. He is also getting quite a reputation for his photographs of some of the Hornsea surfers.”

People who pay to go into the museum will have exclusive access to the exhibition and be able to buy prints, with £2 from every sale donated to the museum.

Denise added: “It’s open all weekend, 10am to 4pm on Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The museum is usually open 1pm to 4pm on a Sunday, but this Sunday we’re opening at 10am.”

Last entry is at 3pm each day.
