A group of Lifestylers from Holderness Academy were recognised in last year’s Humberside Police Lifestyle Awards.
The Forever Fashionable Friends comprised Thorngumbald girls Ava Ives, Ruby Hammond, Alexa Wrightson, Rosie Cox and Chloe Lanham.
Throughout last summer they did a range of fundraising activities including bake sales, care home visits and gardening for elderly people, as well as revamping a disused pond.
The girls raised £292 for the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides wigs for children with cancer. At a ceremony at Hull City Hall late last year, they were named winners of the Group 1 category.
