Fine weather favours the Splutter

A steady stream of visitors took advantage of the fine weather to enjoy ploughing demonstrations and look for bargains at a car boot sale.

Holderness Vintage Machinery Club held its Spring Splutter at the showground in Boyes Lane, Keyingham, and held demonstrations of ploughing, as well as displays of old cars and tractors, static engines and a popular car boot sale.

And after having a good browse, visitors had the chance to enjoy refreshments.

The club’s next event will be on Sunday, June 19, when a vintage vehicle and tractor run in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance will leave Boyes Lane at 10am.
