Director and producer to attend Hornsea Cinema matinee

by Michelle Horst

Film lovers have a rare opportunity to meet the director and producer of Only Love Matters at the Hornsea Cinema matinee showing in December.

Hailed as groundbreaking by the BBC, Only Love Matters premiered in Marbella, Spain. The film has been released to Floral Hall Cinema before national movie theatres.

Starring Emma Von Schreiber, Josh Simpson, Sara Faraj, and Matthew Wright-Kenny, the film follows a woman whose life is turned around by a book. The author’s intersex experiences inspire her to reflect and explore her own life.

Iram Qureshi, producer, and director Kamran Qureshi will attend the 3pm showing on Wednesday, December 18.

Rosie Bullard, organiser of the cinema, said: “This will be very different from our usual films.” Rosie is looking forward to sharing the movie with the town’s moviegoers. She added: “It looks beautifully filmed and presented.”

Tickets are £4, with free entry for attending carers, and they can be purchased on the door. Further information about Hornsea Cinema can be found on Facebook at facebook.com/Hornseacinema.
