Dave Hook from Burstwick won Hedon Viewfinders Photography Club’s summer lensball print competition.
A lensball is an optically sharp glass or crystal ball. Dave’s A4-sized print of Paull Church with its unique lensball appearance was judged by members’ votes as the best of the entries.
Dave, who said he was surprised and delighted, was presented with his prize of a new lensball kit by club chairman Ray Duffill, who said: “With an image showing both technical proficiency in using the camera and lensball together and with a creative composition, most members agreed that Dave’s photograph was great.
“This was the first of a series of monthly print prize competitions that will encourage members to produce prints and meet challenges and themes.
“We have a competition on October 30 to produce prints on a Film Noir theme, and Autumn on November 27.
“We will also arrange to make the competition meetings more interactive with those online able to vote and participate.”
