Angels, shepherds, wise folk and barnyard animals of all kinds dominated the scene at the Songbirds Christmas Nativity in St Augustine’s Church, Hedon.
The venue was packed with parents and grandparents eager to see the famous story retold starring the infants of both Hedon and Preston Songbirds nurseries.
The atmosphere in the church on December 18 was almost like a party until the action started, and then silence was broken only by encouraging words and sounds of praise from audience members.
It was a fantastic production organised by the staff from the nurseries, helped by the Dagger Lane Singers and the choir from Hedon Primary School.
