The wet weather did not put people off from visiting St Patrick’s Church in Patrington last weekend.
On display were some 180 paintings and works of art produced by 14 local artists at an exhibition covering many subjects from landscapes to abstract.
Many of the artists were present in the church, giving demonstrations of their skills and only too happy to talk to visitors about their love of art. Artists reported steady sales of their work, with 10 per cent of the proceeds going to church funds.
The exhibition was supported by East Riding Artists (ERA).
