A calendar raising funds for next year’s Blue Light Weekend has gone on sale.
It features some of the best images from the 2023 and 2024 events on Withernsea’s prom, including the Colour Run, the Lancaster Bomber, mascots, RNLI lifeboats, and more. Photographers Terry Bearpark, Craig Marriott, Tony Haley, Simon Dallimore, Andy Medcalf, and Sam Hawcroft contributed to the collection.
The calendar includes a reminder of the dates for next year’s event – August 2-3, 2025 – as well as details of some of the causes that benefitted from Blue Light Weekend 2024. This year, a total of £8,000 was raised and donated to local lifesaving and emergency services organisations and veterans’ charities.
The calendars are priced at £10 each, with all proceeds going towards the organisation of the Blue Light Weekend, which promises a packed programme of free family events across two days. The event will feature the air show – one of the largest in the North of England – along with the World Mascot Championship, sea exercises, live music, and much more.
