A person has been found dead after a car fire in Keyingham, police have said.
At about 9.15am on Thursday January 4, emergency services were called to Dam Lane after reports that a car was on fire.
A number of emergency services were witnessed in attendance including Humberside Police and investigation teams, and Humberside Fire and Rescue.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: “Officers were in attendance on Dam Lane in Keyingham after we were called to reports of a car on fire this morning (Thursday, January 4) at around 9.15am.
“Emergency services were deployed and upon arrival a person was found deceased inside the vehicle.
“The circumstances of their death are not thought to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
