Police are appealing for information after a woman was killed in a crash near Thorngumbald a week before Christmas.
A car and motorbike were in collision on the A1033 near the junction of the B1240, Thorn Road, at about 5.15pm on Wednesday, December 18.
The motorcyclist, 49-year-old Karen Smith, was fatally injured and died at the scene.
Her family have asked for their privacy to be respected and are continuing to be supported by specialist trained officers.
The driver and passenger of the car were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have dashcam footage to contact them on the non-emergency number 101, quoting log 380 of December 18.
