Appeal after motorcyclist killed in collision

Police are appealing for information, dashcam and CCTV footage after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Aldbrough.

Officers were called at 9.30am on Friday, May 9, to reports that a red Honda CBR900 was travelling along the B1238 Hull Road, before narrowly avoiding a Mini Cooper. The bike then left the road and came to a stop in a nearby field.

The 45-year-old man riding the Honda was airlifted to hospital but later died from his injuries.

A Humberside Police spokesman said: “His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.”

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or who has any dashcam or CCTV footage, is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 91 of May 9.
