My No.1 bro, I never thought I’d be
writing this. My heart’s in pieces.
The pain is too hard to deal with.
The way I lost you is incomprehensible.
You were cruelly taken way too soon.
You left me that morning and less
than two hours later, you were gone.
I still can’t believe I won’t get a text saying
“Café sis?”, or our regular daily phone call.
The days are getting harder.
My big brother, my confidant, my hero.
You and I got so close and I thank you for
that. My life is so empty without you.
Give Mum, Dad and Jessica a big
hug from me.
Your birthday present,
Your heartbroken little sis,
Julie xx

Steve, my brother-in-law.
I couldn’t have asked for a better one.
You were more than my brother-in-law, you
were my brother.
I won’t ever forget what you did for us. You
were always there when we needed you.
I’ll look after Julie for you.
Tim xx

Uncle Steve,
We never imagined we’d have to write
something like this so soon.
You were taken from us far too early,
and it hurts more than words can say.
Saturdays will never be the same without
hearing your bike pull up at the café,
sharing a drink, and telling us where you
were off to next. We’ll miss that big wave,
your smile, and the way you lit up a room
with your presence. It’s how we’ll always
remember you – riding your Harley,
full of life, laughter, and generosity.
You’ve left a hole in our lives that can never
be fi lled. But please don’t worry – we’ll keep
taking Mum to the café and raise a glass for
you. We’ll take care of her,
just like you always did.
Keep riding on,
All our love,
Rachel, Beckie and Layla xxx
