Once again, a Withernsea woman has taken part in an annual fundraiser in aid of the RNLI.
Mayday Mile has seen lifeboat supporter Caz Gorman walk a mile a day in May to raise funds for the lifesaving service and at the moment her total stands at more than £400.
Every day has been different, from brilliant sunshine to rain, but what is more remarkable is that Caz has to carry a 4kg oxygen bottle because of a respiratory illness.
Many family members, friends and colleagues have joined her each day as an encouragement and last Saturday’s walk saw her joined by Theresa Gallagher who has also undertaken the walk in many locations, starting on the west coast of Ireland.
Caz’s fundraising page is still open – visit fundraise.rnli.org/s/14207/23973/i to contribute.
