EAST RIDING Libraries and Customer Service Centres

Libraries including the mobile library service will close from 5pm today (Monday, 23 March 23). Multi Service Centres and Customer Service Centres will remain open for customers requiring urgent council services only. Library and council services will continue to be available online at and via telephone on 01482 393939  or go to  E-books and magazines can be downloaded and you can join the library service for free.

Bilton Village Hall

AS A RESULT of the government announcement regarding reduction of social contact, the Bilton Village Hall has taken the step to close the facility until further notice, including its's play park. The entrance gates to the facility will be locked.   As a result of this access will be unavailable for the Parish Council office, which will mean no further green caddy bags will able to be collected. Patrington Parish Council

AT AN EXTRAORDINARY meeting of Patrington Parish Council on March 19 (the Council resolved to suspend all future meetings in order to follow the Government’s advice in respect of social distancing.Council business will continue in the meantime, with decisions temporarily delegated to the Clerk in consultation with the Chairman. The public toilets in the village centre will continue to be open as usual for as long as possible.The Recreation Club and the Village Hall will be closed until further notice, but any burials in the cemetery will go ahead subject to the service possible from the funeral directors and the places of worship.
