Admin Apprentice

We seek an Apprentice to join the school office
working under the direction of the Office Manager.
Duties include:
• reception tasks and being the first point of contact for visitors to the school
• answering external and internal telephone calls and dealing with parents, visitors, staff and student enquiries
• administrative tasks together with general office duties including typing
GCSE English and Maths together with ICT skills are desirable.
This is an Apprenticeship role and you will be supported in working towards a Level 2 Business Administration qualification as part of a
15 month training programme.
Four days per week will be spent in school and one day per week will be spent training.

Teaching Assistant
Level 1 • P/T Temporary

Under the guidance of the classroom teacher, you will work with individual students who may have learning, physical, behavioural or emotional difficulties, as well as small groups within the classroom.
You will be flexible, able to work independently, meet pre-determined deadlines and possess good verbal communication skills. You should be proficient in building positive relationships with students and have a professional approach to working with teachers and members of the Inclusion Team. A friendly, outgoing but firm personality is essential.
As part of your contracted hours, you will work some breaks and lunchtimes as required.
This post is temporary from 1 September 2019 until 31 August 2020. Hours: 28.75 per week, Monday to Friday, term-time.
