Grand Final bound

THE HOLDERNESS Vikings under 7s held their presentation night on Friday at Soccer Sensations and a great night was had by one and all.

The trophies this year were presented by Hull Kingston Rovers star Craig Hall; a big thank you to him from everyone concerned.

All team members were presented with a trophy for their hard work throughout the season, while some were also presented with trophies for their extra endeavours. They were Corey Greaves (Players Player), Ashton Emerson (Supporters Player), Charlie VickertonSmith (Most Improved), Alfie Oglesby (Best Trainer), while Harry Wright, after a great season, received the Coaches Player of the Year Award.

As to the coaches, Craig Greaves and Dave Emerson, a big thank you must go to them for all their hard work (painful at times) that they have put in to the team this year. The team has gone from strength to strength, as now they become under 8s next year.

The club cannot forget about the parents who have backed the team in their endeavours, through fundraising events, transport etc.

The team are looking forward to rounding off the season with a trip to the Grand Final between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Anyone wishing to join the team for next season will be made most welcome. Training is held on Keyingham Playing Field on Saturday mornings from 10am (inside through winter) so come along and join in.
